New Yorker patriots marched in the streets of Manhattan Thursday demanding Mayor Zohran Mamdani not attend Friday’s 9/11 ceremony and even clashed with left-wing counter protesters.
“The REAL victim of 9/11 was Mamdani’s fake aunt?! We don’t even know if she exists! He said she was to scared to wear her hijab on the subway after 9/11!” one anti-Mamdani protester told the crowd. “And let’s talk about Islamophobia for a second! It is NOT irrational for me to fear them!”

Trump to mark 9/11’s 25th anniversary at Pentagon
President Donald Trump will attend a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at the Pentagon Friday, honoring victims and first responders, while Vice President JD Vance commemorates the anniversary at the World Trade Center site alongside former Presidents Obama, Bush, and Clinton, plus former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
The White House will have officials present at all three attack sites, including Shanksville, Pennsylvania, marking Trump’s continued pattern of attending Pentagon ceremonies during his presidency, as he did in 2017, 2019, and last year.
Ahead of the anniversary, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation displayed a recovered World Trade Center steel beam at the White House as part of a cross-country tour; Trump, who witnessed the attacks from New York as a real estate developer, has previously described watching the towers from his office window.
JD Vance ignites the RNC with chilling speech: He’s ready for 2028…
Vice President JD Vance drew “JD 28” chants and enthusiastic crowd reactions at the GOP midterm convention’s closing night, benefiting from a favorable speaking slot after Trump’s Day 1 headliner and Marco Rubio’s absence, though Vance urged focus on November first.
Vance handled a protester waving a Mexican flag by turning it into a rallying moment, drawing praise from attendees who said the moment reinforced his presidential presence; he also urged disaffected conservatives frustrated over the Iran war not to abandon the party.
Multiple attendees said they left convinced Vance is ready to be the party’s next leader, with some Republican officials calling his speech his best yet, even as Vance and Trump have both said it’s too early to settle on a 2028 successor.
Never Forget
25 years ago, radical Islamic terrorists attacked America in an attempt to scare us into submission and destroy all that is good in our country.
While some have forgotten the horrors of that day, and have let the 3,000+ victims fade into distant memory, most Americans have refused to forget what happened, and have become defiant and unwavering in their love for our way of life and our values that created a beacon of hope and opportunity in the world for men to live free and determine their own destinies.
Today we affirm that America is our home, and we are proud of it and we love it and we will defend it from all threats foreign and domestic.
The most horrific act of terror cannot deter us, and evil will never prevail.
Never forget, and God bless all the victims and their families on this day.
