Congresswoman Delia Ramirez (D-IL) announced her plan to eliminate the Department of Homeland Security in a deliberate effort to end immigration enforcement by getting rid of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Protection.
Ramirez explained her bill, The Reimagining Safety Act, is necessary because “DHS must be dismantled, piece by piece, and something new - a system that honors our rights, our dignity, and our humanity - must be built” and the bill “will dismantle DHS and create a new human- and community-centered federal department: The Department of Community Safety to promote collective care and well-being.”
During her press conference about the bill, Ramirez addressed the attendees in English and Spanish.
In the Spanish portion of her event, she said Congress must get rid of DHS so “our people will no longer have to live in fear of an unjust system” and so that immigration is not handled by an agency that likes to label immigrants as terrorists.

Ramirez’s comments outlining her plan drew the most backlash, especially the part where she referred to illegal immigrants as “our people” in Spanish.
That phrasing is no accident. Far-left types like Ramirez are a prime example as to how insane our political system has become. Beyond her crazy idea to get rid of DHS to end immigration enforcement, Ramirez’s family history emphasizes the importance of having sound national policy.
Ramirez is, by her own admission, a “proud anchor baby” since her mother arrived in the United States when she was pregnant after leaving Guatemala. The Congresswoman infamously declared she is more proud to be a Guatemalan than an American last year during a far-left conference in Mexico City.
Any time she has a chance to profess loyalty, she does so to people who are not American. Even before this bill’s announcement, Ramirez has hammered the absurd message of “DHS is still the single greatest threat to our communities.”

Ramirez has also come to the defense of fellow Democrat LaMonica McIver, who is in a court battle after being caught on camera assaulting federal law enforcement outside of an ICE facility in New Jersey last year.
“Rep McIver did her job, conducted oversight, and protected her constituents and our communities. Today’s decision from the Third Circuit is an attack on Congressional oversight. I stand with Rep McIver. We will continue to fight for our communities, defend our rights, and hold this authoritarian administration accountable. The fight is not over!” said Ramirez.
It should be no surprise that people like Ramirez have no love or loyalty to the United States and seek to undermine it from their positions of power. It is why the midterms are so important.
Democrats have made no attempt to hide their plans should they gain control of Congress. All of the real gains made by the Trump administration will grind to a halt because Democrats will be hard at work for their people, and it’s not Americans.

When she took the oath of office, what exactly did she have to say? If this is true as reported, she would have violated her oath of office. The first order of the day when Congress return to Session, is to have this Woman censored and kicked out of office.
