NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch created quite an awkward moment during an NYPD event, Wednesday, by demanding “moral clarity” on 9/11, proclaiming that “terrorists” were to blame for the horrific attacks on America while she was standing right next to Mayor Zohran Mamdani, who was sitting motionless and starring blankly.
“Preserving that history also means preserving its moral clarity,” Tisch said. “The men who attacked this city were terrorists. The men and women who ran into the towers to save innocent lives were heroes. Twenty-five years cannot be allowed to blur that distinction and shame on those who do.”

Trump headlines GOP’s first midterm convention, urges “pretend I’m on the ballot”
President Donald Trump kicked off the GOP’s first-ever midterm convention in Dallas, urging supporters to “pretend” he’s on the ballot to help finish his agenda, while unveiling new policy pledges including ending surprise medical billing, national voter ID, and death penalty provisions for major drug dealers.
Trump presented the election as a fight against “communism,” warning that a Democratic win would cost voters their border security, tax cuts, and safety. He also predicted that the Iran conflict would end shortly after the November election.
The event featured surprises including a video from Sen. John Fetterman criticizing “socialism” and praising GOP Sen. Dave McCormick amid party-switch speculation, plus jumbotron images mocking communist streamer Hasan Piker, an ally of Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed who is closely linked to the DSA. Rising GOP figures, including Reps. Monica and Carlos De La Cruz, also took the stage.
Trump also promised a $5,000 dividend to be paid out to “every adult citizen in America” on the condition that the Republicans win both the House and the Senate in the midterms. Watch:

TPUSA plans Charlie Kirk memorial as left-wing student group protests at UVU
Turning Point USA will host a “Freedom Built to Last Memorial” at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10, marking one year since founder Charlie Kirk’s killing on campus, featuring speeches from Glenn Beck, Frank Turek, and TPUSA leadership. UVU is closing campus that day for a “day of healing.”
UVU’s Students for a Democratic Society club plans to protest the event Thursday evening, circulating an open letter with over 600 signatures accusing TPUSA of using the tragedy to advance what they call “chauvinistic and divisive ideas” and criticizing university leadership for accommodating the memorial.
UVU President Jon Anderson defended allowing the event, saying the university remains apolitical and that any group could have booked the venue that day, while noting the school is providing security but isn’t officially sponsoring the memorial.
Charlie Kirk will never be forgotten
One year ago today, conservative champion Charlie Kirk was shot and killed by a gunman at Utah Valley University in front of a crowd of students.
He inspired millions of young conservatives to wake up from the left-wing propaganda being fed to them by academia, changing a generation and likely saving America’s future.

I’m a 74 year old daughter, sister, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. I grew up with every value Charlie Kirk tried to convey to college students and the general population of the USA.
When Charlie was murdered on this sad one year anniversary day, all the hope I had for my grandkids & great grandkids went with him.
In twelve short months we have an epidemic on socialism-communism taking over our country. Never in my life did I ever fear of this happening in my country because I always thought it was against the law to be a socialist especially communist. How this is even happening is beyond common sense. What exactly does our constitution stand for? What does our Bill of rights stand for?
It was a huge mistake decades ago to let the poor the tired the weary come into our country without putting our laws in strict place. We opened our arms, we showed generosity, kindness so these people could have a better life.
What have they done to thank us?!?! They’ve come here and immediately turned towns, cities, states into the shitholes they left behind. They have no desire to speak English or assimilate because laws weren’t strictly enforced from the get go.
