It has now been one year since Turning Point USA founder and leader Charlie Kirk was killed by a leftist. In the time since then, much of the Left has celebrated, excused, or explained away Charlie’s assassination.
It was a tragic moment and a profound blow to the right, especially for the younger generation who Charlie related to and prioritized very strongly. His absence is still very much felt to this day.
What has been revealed since September 10, 2025 is that it exposed how the Left is willing to drop the pretense that they “just want to give free healthcare” to Americans the moment they get any sense of victory.
Sure, there were condemnations from Democrat politicians, but their base was ecstatic at seeing Charlie be killed in such a public way. It was their first “victory” since Donald Trump avoided two assassination attempts and became president again.
Liberal and progressive influencers, such as Hasan Piker, continue to say that Charlie’s views were what got him killed and he basically deserved it. Even more recently, liberal social media users are upset that the plethora of memes mocking Charlie have made many “forget” just how “horrible” Charlie’s views were. Again, the insinuation being it is good he was killed.
In what has become an almost daily occurrence, the same “we just want healthcare” side is putting out social media posts hoping and wishcasting that THIS day or month is the day or month Trump finally dies.
It has become their latest obsession due to Trump’s age and the successful attempt on Charlie’s life.
This is why the midterms are important. I understand that many in Trump’s base are angry about one policy or another, but the alternative is to hand power over to a rabid electorate who will push as far as they can.
The rise of the Democratic Socialists within the Democrat Party is proof the Left is not going to go down the middle on policy anytime soon.
I’ll leave off with this quote from TPUSA that commemorated the one year anniversary of his death: “Charlie believed America was worth fighting for, that young people could change the course of a nation, and that speech would only remain free if exercised. Always leading by example, he was fearless in the pursuit of truth—no matter the cost. No one taught this generation how to fight the good fight better than Charlie Kirk.”
CK’s talent was definitely of a Divine Quality.

…who could or would denigrate Charlie as anything other than a fair minded, non-aggressive, loving, intelligent and honest man…who loved Jesus / Family / Country
…in that order…
I say to them…
“Go your way…and,
Away from me!
You are of your father the devil…
and may you find the Lord before His Righteousness and Glory return with ferocity reserved for a hungry Lion.” And beg his forgiveness!
