While it was to be expected for Democrats and Leftists to be heavily against President Trump’s goal for mass deportations, some on the Right have become blackpilled at the pace of deportations. There have been times when the criticisms have been more than warranted, such as when President Trump floated ICE avoiding farms or hotels and when DHS withdrew extra personnel from Minnesota.
But what we have seen from some on the Right has gone beyond legitimate criticisms. I’ve seen online posts saying that Trump 2.0 is just a Kamala Harris presidency with a better border or questioning whether the border wall is being built. Even more unhinged responses from a few on the “Right” has been to vote for Democrats as revenge for not Trump not keeping his promises.
We have to remember where we started. Tens of thousands of people were illegally crossing everyday. Thousands more were flying in daily and being released through parole.

Since then, the Trump administration ended those open border policies and has secured funding for the border wall and DHS for the rest of his term. His administration has accomplished this while facing violent resistance from the Left, countless lawsuits, crazy rulings from judges, and pushback from special interests within the Republican party.

Perhaps one of the greatest successes is DHS, under Trump, has widely expanded the 287(g) program. This program allows state and local law enforcement to be a force multiplier to locate and arrest illegal aliens in their jurisdiction. Not surprisingly, there were barely any 287(g) agreements during Biden. Today, there are over 2,000 agreements across the country.
Florida is the best example of fully utilizing the 287(g) program. In fact, Florida law enforcement accounts for nearly 40% of all 287(g) arrests.
For anyone doubting how much traction the Trump administration has gotten since the start of his term, you need to do something that I rarely advise: Read the mainstream media.
Story after story, headline after headline from Trump’s critics are lamenting how he is making significant progress against illegal and legal immigration abuses.
It was not that long ago that the policies being implemented today were unthinkable, even from a Republican administration. ICE has deported illegal aliens to countries in Africa if they were unable to be returned to their country of origin. I can confirm from my recent reporting in Mexico that those deportations to Africa have been a great deterrent for illegal immigrants.
While there were setbacks in the courts at the start, the Trump administration has been on a roll getting rulings in its favor that cement deportations and immigration restrictions.
In my view, as long as the momentum is working towards undoing the damage, it will give us time to work out the finer details.
It makes zero sense to sit out the midterms or vote for Democrats in order to “send a message” to Trump. The Left has lost their minds over this issue and has gone to the extreme. They’re not calling for reforming ICE or DHS, they are calling to get rid of immigration enforcement completely and just allow everyone to come on in.
There is still a long way to go and this won’t be fixed under Trump’s last term, but Republicans can’t let perfect be the enemy of good.

I live in the UK but I’ve always been told that what happens in the USA happens over here 10 years later.
Well perhaps things happen faster now. People tend to take opinion polls with a pinch of salt in the UK with polls under estimating the nationalist vote in favour of the globalist vote.
If it’s true that Trump plans to give $5000 dollars to Americans as a result of the benefits he’s engineered since his election, I doubt the polls will be right.
In addition the prediction of fuel prices dropping to $19 a barrel when Venezuelan oil pours in through next year, the Democrats will be toast.
