The author's points are valid, but even if Mr Trump used his platform to tell Americans he understood their pain and to be patient, he was working on solutions, my suspicion is the strategy and the mechanism the democrats used to flip the Congressional makeup nationwide up and down ballots was in the works years ago, probably mapped out right after the 2024 election and updated to take advantage of current events. Last week I read an article by former Democrat fundraiser Lindi Li who predicted very confidently a Republican bloodbath. My first thought was, no way, even the most pessimistic pundits said the worst case scenario was the House would go to the Dems. Then I saw an article about another migrant caravan headed our way, which I thought was odd, since the border has been effectively shut down since last year. It is more than coincidental that an enormously effective incumbent, pro border enforcement Governor lost his race to a former Representative whose only claim to fame is having gone on record opposing ICE. Finally, I cannot help but think the monumental PR campaign to discredit and disparage AI Data Centers in the months leading up to the elections is a lot more than just some grass roots environmental pushback. The diminutive Governor, aspiring Presidential candidate from PA, josh shapiro, won re-election by a landslide in part my painting his opponent as an indifferent, irresponsible apparatchik for the AI Data Center industry, which is pretty ironic since last year this same governor negotiated deals with AI Data Center Developers. Does anyone besides me believe that the Chinese bankrolled a lot of this resistance?
