The European experiment of replacing the WW2 casualties with Muslim migrants, has failed. At risk of sounding Islamophobic, I must agree with Pres. Trump that the Muslim communities need be sent to their countries of origin.
However, by itself this is insufficient. The locations of origin need be improved economically and politically to receive this population with minimal social disruption. As the migrants are mostly from North Africa and MidEast, the project necessary is in principle simple. Not simple in practise, however. The project consists of massive solar energy collection, and usage of the power for huge seawater desalination enterprises. The water can then be used to green the deserts. A mere 5000 years ago, the Sahara desert was a savannah, verdant and full of life. This nature bounty can be recovered, given modern technology.
As a byproduct, it will also reduce atmospheric CO2, and diminish the planetary hothouse catastrophe. It is also superb as a business venture.
For an example how it could be done, the world could learn from Israel's experience and methods. They are already being used in Sa'udiya, Egypt, Jordan, Australia, and others.
Now the scale of the effort needs be multiplied by 10, by 100, by 1000 !!!
