I'm no fan of the DSA. Their collective penchant for shooting themselves in the collective feet continues to astound. But those who target the DSA without bothering to mention the far-right's agenda for America, as contained in Project 2025, aren't very transparent.
I don't support many of the DSA's radical policies, but then the majority of all Democrats don't either. Any attempts to paint the Democrat Party with a broad DSA/communist brush are just the latest, desperate disinformation campaigns by the Right.
"Communism" accusations are the latest immigrant caravans of violent criminals invading our borders scare tactic. The Republican Red Scare for '26 is the new "every Democratic politician wants to defund the police" lie. It's all they have.
The GOP's tired, dusty, old M. O. of using ridiculous culture wars to distract from their shameless crimes and corruption won't work this time. The U. S. is being destroyed by this administration just as if a foreign enemy had invaded our shores, and every sane American with a clear sense of right and wrong knows it.
